Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated: 26 October 2026
BAY38 Workwear is a trading name of Bay38 Limited (company no. 17218099), 38 Hall Lane, Walsall Wood, Walsall WS9 9AS. We're below the £36m turnover that makes this statement a legal requirement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish it anyway, because the businesses we kit out have a right to know where their workwear comes from.
What we do
We sell workwear, safety footwear, PPE and gloves to UK trades and businesses, and we decorate it with your logo. The decorating, both print and embroidery, is done by our own team in our workshop in Walsall Wood. That part of the chain we see every day.
Where the garments come from
We don't make garments or footwear. We buy finished products from established brands and their UK distributors, including ORN, Supertouch, Warrior, CAT, Amblers Safety, Dickies, Helly Hansen, Magnum, Puma Safety, Skechers, Stanley and Timberland Pro. Their factories are overseas, and that's where the risk of forced labour in our industry sits.
What we do about it
- We buy through recognised brands and their official UK distribution, never unbranded or grey-market stock.
- Where a supplier publishes its own ethical trading or modern slavery policy, we keep a copy. ORN, for example, publishes modern slavery, anti-slavery and ethical trading policies alongside its ISO certificates.
- We're asking every supplier for its current statement, and we'll pass any of them to a customer who needs it for a tender or audit.
- If we found a supplier using forced labour, we would stop buying from them.
